Overview
The Academy of Imaginal Arts and Sciences is a center for research, development and community action. The Academy’s specific purpose is to conduct scientific, clinical, phenomenological, historical and creative research exploring the convergence of emerging technologies and depth psychology.
The Academy is devoted to leveraging the genius of the autonomous imagination. It seeks to actualize humane technologies that make everyday lives healthier, happier and more inclusive, while enhancing sustainable development. The Academy is especially interested in researching issues surrounding the social determinants of health including economic stability, social context, environment, health and education. Examples may include trauma, screen addiction, social justice, climate change, etc.

Research conducted by psychologists, mythologists and scholars at the Academy of Imaginal Arts and Sciences will provide technological architects of the virtual world with premier intellectual and creative resources. These resources will inform the writing of the new stories society will tell itself in education, employment, entertainment and holistic health.
Social and scientific research conducted at the Academy will benefit all sectors of the community.
